Written by the USA; signed by Cuba, the DPRK, Egypt, the ROK, and the USA
The General Assembly,
Recognizing the importance of Nuclear Non-Proliferation in the context of Non-Proliferation,
Recalling the Non-Proliferation Treaty and its importance,
Calling on all states to sign and ratify the Non-Proliferation Treaty and to refrain from retracting,
Calling for the establishment of Nuclear Weapons Free Zones to supplement the NPT,
1. Calls on all nations who have retracted from the NPT for its own purposes to resign and ratify the NPT;
2. Encourages all nations to who have not signed the NPT to sign and ratify it;
3. Calls on nations who have nuclear arms but have not signed the NPT to sign and ratify the NPT;
4. Establishes a Nuclear-Weapon-Free-Zone in the Middle East and North Africa
5. Increases aid in the Middle East to those countries who sign and abide by the NPT and the Nuclear-Weapon-Free-Zone;
6. Creates a special workshop for discussion by this committee, to
A. Mediate between India and Pakistan concerning nuclear weapons and non-proliferation, with the purpose of those countries signing the NPT;
B. Mediate between Israel and its surrounding countries, for peace in the Middle East, as well as for the purpose of signature of the NPT;
7. Creates a timeline, for the purpose of non-proliferation, to resolve the issue of nuclear instability in north-east Asia, such as (in order):
a. The return of the DPRK to the six-party talks to reduce nuclear weapons;
b. All nations will work towards disarmament; in turn the DPRK will work towards the immediate stop of nuclear weapons program and reduction of nuclear weapons;
c. The realization of lasting peace in north-east Asia;
